Sensational Sensation Salad

Iceberg Lettuce with a perfectly cheesy acidic Sensation Dressing

Sensation salad is one of those salads that compliments almost every meal from chicken to steak to seafood. It is light and tangy and easy to make when you have the secret…. It starts with a basic vinegarette and garlic; add freshly grated parmesan cheese, and you have a delicious, healthy addition to the meal.

Here is my favorite version:

  • 1 Head of Iceberg Lettuce, ripped & shredded (I use Pampered Chef Salad Choppers)
  • Garlic Powder sprinkled around the edge of the bowl
  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil (Not EVOO)
  • 1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Sprinkle with fresh Parsley
  • Cracked Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Optional toppings: almonds or sun dried tomatoes

Toss with Salad Tongs and serve with dinner!
